PREP:        Most swimmers begin in the PREP program.  PREP is designed to introduce swimmers to the sport in
a non-competitive environment so that swimmers can learn at their own pace.  In PREP we focus on comfort and
“feel” for the water.  We work on team building, practice etiquette, and a lot of fun basic skills.  Repetition is vital
to learning.  We take time to acquaint swimmers with the idea that we are “racing ourselves” by focusing on
personal improvement rather than how we compare to everyone else.  Every child learns at his or her own rate.
In PREP, some swimmers are invited to small meets when the coaches feel they are ready.  To compete in swim
meets, you must fill out a USA Registration form and submit the annual fee.

PREP TEAM dues are paid in full ($40.00)  at the beginning of each 5 week session.  PREP swimmers can be
invited to upgrade to the COMP when the coaches feel they are ready.  PREP swimmers may compete in meets
at the coach's discretion.

Registration is required for all PREP swimmers:
Those registering for PREP level 1 must be able to cross the diving well of the Webb City facility on their own.
Those registering for PREP level 2 must be ages 9-12 unless moved up by a coach.
You will be assigned one of the following 45 minute practice times:
